    The LEARNING DIFFERENCE NETWORK:
    http://www.madison.com/communities/ldn/index.php

The Learning Difference Network was established in January of 2006 by two local moms in Verona, Wisconsin (Greater Madison area). The purpose is to connect parents and teachers who are supporting kids who learn differently. Many of the families are dealing with reading, writing, math and/or attention problems.

Monthly meetings offer adults the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics, as well as resources in the Greater Madison Area. Families call and come from Dane County and the surrounding areas. All events are free of charge. At the end of each meeting there is time for open discussion and getting to know other parents and educators. There is also an informal network of phone support and information sharing. The goal is for parents and teachers to have the knowledge to help these amazing kids succeed...and feel empowered to do it!
